Kaila Jenkins, co-founder of Hawks FC, has 25 years of soccer experience at the youth and collegiate levels. A University of Pittsburgh alumna and former team player, Kaila has dedicated the past five years to coaching soccer at the youth and high school levels. Her extensive background in the sport and commitment to developing young athletes make her a vital part of Hawks FC’s success. Kaila’s coaching philosophy focuses on the personal and athletic development of each player, emphasizing soccer fundamentals, fostering a love for the game, and encouraging a growth mindset. Her goal is to develop well-rounded athletes who excel in all areas. Through structured and progressive training sessions, she enhances individual skills and team play. Believing that soccer is a transformative experience for young female athletes, she creates a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment. This approach develops skilled, confident, and compassionate players who excel on and off the field. Maya Pitts– Co Founder & Head Coach
Maya Pitts, co-founder of Hawks FC, brings 25 years of soccer experience spanning youth, collegiate, and professional levels. A Syracuse University alumna, Maya has over five years of coaching experience, driving Hawks FC to become a respected name in the soccer community. Maya’s playing career includes stints in Sweden and Cyprus, and she currently plays semi-professionally for NJ Alliance. Her deep understanding of the game and dedication to player development inspire and motivate players to achieve their full potential. Maya’s coaching philosophy encourages players to embrace risks, learn from mistakes, and develop leadership qualities. She fosters an environment where players can discover their unique style while honing their technical skills and becoming confident with the ball at their feet. By cultivating strong, trusting relationships with her players, Maya ensures their individual needs are met, creating a foundation of mutual trust and confidence.
